Indicate whether or not you think the following statements are true/false:
1) Baldness is more common in males than in females
2) Eating peanuts during pregnancy would make the baby intelligent
3) If a person loses a finger accidentally, he or she would have a child with a missing finger
4) Identical twins are always of the same sex.
5) There are more female babies than male babies born every year.
6) A person with curly hair may have a child with straight hair.
7) The mother determines the sex of the child.
8) Identical twins are more closely related than fraternal twins.
9) The tendency to have twins may be inherited.
10) During pregnancy, whatever the mother eats will have an effect of the physical characteristics of the baby (ie. eating white food may make the baby’s complexion lighter; NOT drugs, alchol, etc.)
11) A child with harelip inherits this trait from his/her mother.
12) Males are biologically stronger than females.
13) Each parent contributes half of the child’s genetic make-up.
14) Certain acquired characteristics like dancing, singing may be inherited.
15) Colour blindness is more common in males than females.
