Does Hair Come From Mums Or Dads Side?
Posted by adminI am 16 and have had very thin hair since 14. I had a blood test done and everything was fine so the dermotologist told me that I have one of two things. Male pattern baldness or in her opinion, it is diffuse alopecia.
My hair line has not receded but the other way round, my hair line is the thickest part where my hair grows. On my temples, there is also hair loss. The edges of my hair has thick dense hair, but everywhere else very thin hair.
My dads side lose there hair by the age of 35 but on my mums side, my grandfather who is 70 has a full head of hair and no receding of the hair line. Same for my mums brother.
Whos hair do I inherit?
according to 9th grade biology, hair is incomplete dominance. (genetically, can be anywhere from 0-100% mom’s or dad’s)
