Help! I Straightened My Hair With An Iron, The Hair On The Top Of My Head Now Seems Thinner.?
Posted by adminI straightened my hair for about a year with an iron. I am a 16 year old, male, athletic, healthy. I have recently shaved my head to a number 3 and the hair seems to be not AS thin, BUT it is still thin on the top of my head (crown area) the rest of my hair is very healthy. I am worried that I might be going bald
, there are NO signs of baldness on my mothers side of the family. WHAT SHOULD I DO! AM I GOING BALD? help me please.

jack_492 gave you some pretty poor advice.
An ex of mine had the same problem, however, at your age, I wouldn’t look into it that much.
Follow your hair pattern for the next few years and see if it gets any worse.
There are treatments out there such as propecia, minoxidil, Nizoral shampoo and many concealers such as Dermmatch which help the battle with hairloss also.
Again, you’re too young to be putting too much thought into it. But seriously, hair loss is no way near as bad as it used to be if caught early.
If it is around the crown of your head then that could be a sign that you are going bald but it is more likely you damaged your hair with the iron. Let your hair grow naturally and comb it over the thinner part.
