Help With Icthy Scalp?
Posted by adminlately my scalp has been really itchy along with some thinning. I’m 17 right now and trying to figure out how to get rid of my itchy scalp and grow back the hair I lost. My hair used to be really thick but now it’s getting thinner every month. Male pattern baldness doesn’t run on either side of my family so this is really weird. I went to a doctor but all he could recommend was some nuetragena t gel that has some really harsh chemicals and one other doctor said it was normal shedding and that I should see more hair growth within 1 month, but now that it’s been 2 months, I’m starting to think doctors don’t know what they’re talking about. I was told by the first one I went to that I had a yeast infection on my scalp.
If you decide to answer me please don’t make it complicated or hard to understand your explanation.
Cliff notes: hair thinning but it doesn’t run in the family along with a yeast infection in my scalp.
Help! what do I do?!

I would try a clarifying shampoo for your itchiness, I had the same problem. All the oils in your scalp build up and cause it to get like that. Also, try the clarifying conditioner. We use Suave. It works the best.
Or you could try Head & Shoulders for it. Or Selsun Blue. I would deffinetly use a clrifying or dandruff shampoo though.
As for the thinning, I think you knod of have to take that as it is. It probably is common and won’t be as bad within the next couple months.
Good Luck!!
i’ve never heard of a yeast infection on the scalp. and can’t explain your hair loss. but, for the itchy scalp, try tea tree oil shampoo. i got some for the same problem and it is awesome.
Be sure to wash your hair regularly; really scrub your scalp.
When I was 2, most of my hair fell out. It all grew back a few months later.
try changing the shampoo u use, and if u use conditioner stop because thats what causes the hair loss
selson blue shampoo kk
