I Am 22, And About 2 Years Ago My Hair Was Very Thick. Now Its Thin. What Can I Use To Thicken My Hair Again?

I guss i had aot of hair fallout through the recent year do to alot of gel usage. I dont know if its male baldness or anything. Nobody in my family has ever experienced that, but i have alot of hair, just not as much as i used too. Its gotten alot thinner. I have cut my hair and haven’t used any chemicals in it for a while, hoping it would start to comeback. What can i do, to get it to grow thicker?
