Is Homosexuality Hereditary?

So, everybody says, “your born that way,” you know being gay.
But, here’s the thing. If you have male pattern baldness, take a look at your dad and you know where you got it from. If your short take a look at both your mother and fathers side and do the math.
Almost everything else that we’re “born” with is hereditary, so is being gay?
Or,
Is it possible……that who we choose to have sex with, rather boy or girl or hell even ’group,’ is a CHOICE?
Please at this point lets not answer, “Why do you care?” that’s not an answer and almost another way of saying, “ I can’t answer that, I never thought of it!”
Homosexuality is a choice.
Not genetic.
Homosexuality is NOT a choice. Sexuality isn’t black and white, you aren’t either hetero or homo sexual. Sexuality is a continuum line and we all fall somewhere along that line, some of us are at the more extreme ends but most fall somewhere between (and no that doesn’t necessarily make you bisexual). I don’t think you can inherit your orientation, rather it’s just a chemical thing in your brain, it’s part of who you are and you can’t fight it and you can’t change it, so we should all just accept each other.
There is a lot of study that says that it IS hereditary Having sex is just one part of whomever you are. The rest is emotional, sentimental, or erotic.
As for the oversimplified way of tracing baldness or height, homosexuality can often go undisclosed in many family members who never accepted themselves. These are the ones that CHOSE to ignore their real feelings for whatever reason. I know dozens of “married with kids” people who are homosexual. Men and women!
Sexual preferences are not hereditary as there is no know link between them and any biological part of a gay man or woman’s physiology, although it is possible that sexuality is influenced by what you’ve seen and heard, gay parent are more likely to pass on this lifestyle to their children as it is with a number of other things.

being gay is a choice mostly because u dont find interest in the opposite sex because of dissaproval from them or how they treated you poorly.

I reckon it is more about choice than genetics. For the very reason you point out, but it could also be about environment. I don’t condemn either way, I’m just not convinced it is something you are born with.
