    Androgenic alopecia is a specific type and pattern of hairloss starting with the receding hairline in the “M” pattern and a subsequent thinning at the crown. There are other patterns of hairloss based on factors outside those indicated for androgenic alopecia but those are not “Male pattern baldness.”

    I can name three:-
    Bald patch on the top
    The front receding in the middle
    The front receding at the sides, keeping the middle
    Stay away from the comb-over!!!
