Male Baldness Info

My husband is a 25 year old. He has a (very)thin patch of hair in the back of his head and is very stressed out about it. We tried a special hair treatment and spray that was very expensive and gave no results.I was wondering what other men have tried and what works.Also is it normal to be losing hair at age 24? His dad is almost bald but male pattern baldness doesn’t run in his family.

Look into the oral drug called Propecia. It blocks the normal conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. Hair follicles that have been coded genetically to atrophy when exposed to DHT (that’s what causes male pattern baldness) will not atrophy since no testosterone actually converts to DHT.
I am 49 and have been taking it for several years. Began when I started noticing my hair thinning significantly. You should see pictures of my grandad on my mom’s side. He was as bald as an ice cube. Me, though, I’VE GOT HAIR. And it’s stayin put!
