Male Baldness Info

Does hair fall increase if you have dandruff?
Whenever i massage my hair at night before the mirror. I see about 50-60 hairs in the wash basin. My hair is only about 1.5-2 inches long. Am I losing my hair? I am 23 1/2 yrs old. Male. I do have dandruff. Is that the cause? or is it baldness. I have baldness in my family??

I’ve heard this can be a sign of male pattern baldness setting in? I’m very concerned because I’m only 18 and it does run on my father’s side of the family. I’m very uncomfortable with a very itchy and flaky red scalp. I occasionally experience some tingling and severe itchiness and pain. There’s also a bit of hair fall especially in the shower.
Is there a chance this is just natural hair loss and baldness setting in? I plan on going to the dermatologist soon but it does cause me to worry.
