Male Baldness Info

I am 16 and have had very thin hair since 14. I had a blood test done and everything was fine so the dermotologist told me that I have one of two things. Male pattern baldness or in her opinion, it is diffuse alopecia.
My hair line has not receded but the other way round, my hair line is the thickest part where my hair grows. On my temples, there is also hair loss. The edges of my hair has thick dense hair, but everywhere else very thin hair.
My dads side lose there hair by the age of 35 but on my mums side, my grandfather who is 70 has a full head of hair and no receding of the hair line. Same for my mums brother.
Whos hair do I inherit?

I’m an 18 yar old male and for the last couple months have been experiencing something weird. I’m not sure if this is natural hair loss or not.
I will have a painful irrititation in random spots on my scalp and when I have that pain if I run my hand through that location or pull the hair around that location a few strands of hair usually easily come out.
I’m not noticing large bald spots or anything, and baldness runs on my father’s side, but is it supposed to happen like this and come out after scalp pain? I also have a small bump that popped on up on the back of my head and I’m not sure if it’s related. Also some very sensitive scalp on the back of my head. I can’t even really lay down on the back of my head to sleep.
