I was taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for 3 1/2 years and in May stopped. My husband and I wanted to try and have a baby. I didn’t have a period for six months so finally my doctor put me on Provera to get my period started, which it did. I started on November 17th. They doctor’s office called yesterday and said that my blood work came back and I have PCOS. She said I could try myself for a few months or we could come in and talk about our options. She said she could put me on Clomid to ovulate. I do not have any of the symptoms to PCOS. I’m not overweight, don’t have high blood pressure, or high chelestrol, do not have male baldness or facial hair, I do get a pimple every once in awhile, but who doesn’t. I’m just stressed and don’t know what to do. I just cried last night because I never dreamed I would have to go through this. We just want a healthy baby.

It’s not like what I see described as male pattern baldness. I don’t have a bald spot or receding hair line, but I have thinning hair and it affects my entire head. It only happened for a few years and eventually stopped thinning out and never thickened back out. Any ideas?
