Male Baldness Info

Will my hair ever grow back? I am 24/male. There is no baldness problem in my family. Lately (since the past 8 months), I have been under tremendous stress (physically as well as in the form of mental tension). There was tremendous hairfall during this period. There are no bald spots on my scalp except near the upper corners of my forehead.Also there are some spots on scalp where the hair density is very low.
I am afraid that I might go bald. Is there anything that I can try to ensure that I grow back hair (if possible, faster)?

And my hair on the side(temple) has always been very thin. I say in about 3-4 years I’ll be in the first stage of male pattern baldness. I know i get it from genetics since my grandfather was bald and my father, but I’m wondering if there is anything i can do to slow down the process?
