Male Baldness Info

Almost everywhere I read on the internet it says that it doesn’t, the only place where it says it does is on Wikipedia: ” Yes, excess of biotin is also harmful for health because it shows dihydrotestrone-like symptoms such as male pattern baldness or alopecia when used about 5 mg daily for one month in those persons who are more vulnerable to alopecia. This takes three month time for those who are less vulnerable.”
Can someone clear this up for me? Because what that wikipeida article says goes against what I’ve read everywhere else.

I heard that male baldness is obtained by the father of your mother’s genes?
