working out loads at the gym and sweat buckets and have noticed my hair getting thinner aound the temples? Can sweat effect your hair like this?

I have seen in my case, I’m blading near my temples, but this area is also prone to excessive sweating. Especially in summers when it gets humid. Is there any relation, and if yes, how can it be treated?
