Women, Do You Prefer Balding Men Or A Full Head Of Hair?
Posted by adminI am a 39 yr. old male. I am just starting to bald considersably from the front of my head to 2/3 of the way back (male pattern baldness). I am so shy about this that I have not even updated my picture on my avatar. A female friend of mine says that a lot of women like the look of balding men, especially with short hair. What do you think? I am a good looking guy otherwise.
I had never dated a bald or balding man before…but recently met a man who was balding the way you describe. He was handsome and charming!!
I can not hardly wait for the 2nd date.

Don’t worry about women who don’t fancy the balding situation…..there are women who don’t mind it a bit and others (like me)…who become attracted when they meet you in person and see the whole man….not just his head.
i think if its love, it doesn’t matter…now if your out for some tail, i think it just depends on the women, but you shouldn’t be ashamed of who you are.
I believe that men become bald by rubbing their pate on many bedheads. Not sure if that’s true though?
i started balding when i was 22. Have hardly heard anyone poking fun at me except for some immature kids. And ofcourse i always joke about the entire thing. Have many female friends, have been hit too, have got married also. Have many other accomplishments that would cover up for no hair.
What matters is the brain and heart
I had the same issue…….. but number one as a female answerer said……. confidence and being self assured are the thing. Your hair does not define you.
You see guys artfully arranging or puffing up what little fuzz that they have left on top. Then they keep doing the same with the sides and grow it a tad too long. This screams old guy and looks untidy. This also screams a certain weakness and vanity to women which translates to a percieved weakness in other areas. Trust me on this as women have explained this to me a million times.
Think sort of like the guy who has a corvette, a huge boat, etc. etc. The hair thing is the same…… it appears to be compensating for something.
If you still have something on the top or are good on the sides go for a clipper cut. Ask for a number one (clipper settings) on the side and say a 1 and a half on top. It takes a while to find what is right for you. Or go for no guard and skin on the side. It will grow out a bit but will look fine……. think like how Bruce Willis keeps his hair as he has the same issue.
If you go the clipper route find a place that says “Barber” as they tend to understand the whole neat and trim thing. They know what looks good and understand clippers. Places like the Hair Cuttery or a salon just don’t get it.
Even if you say the heck with it and go all the way bald…… great. You are a man, not compensating, not metrosexual…… a man who is confident. You will find that really….. just taking it all off will change the way you feel and is incredibly freeing. Plus you will look ten times younger.
dont be shy, its ok. It happens to many many people. Many women do like balding men, personally i prefer short haired men.
I like both. Balding men doesn’t bother me at all. There are 7 out 10 very successful men are bolding.
I prefer men self-confident enough to not care about but I appreciate your concern as well. Good looking? Fine… Happy for your right girl.
